Day
1 - Arrive Delhi - All your transfers in India re on a private
basis.
Always private air-conditioned vehicle with a private chauffeur.
Early this morning, you will arrive at the New Delhi International Airport.
Following customs, immigration formalities and baggage collection,our
local rep. representative will meet you as you exit the arrivals terminal
and transfer you to your hotel, where we will be holding the rooms to
ensure immediate occupancy.
Upon arrival at the hotel, experience Indian warmth and hospitality as you are greeted with a traditional welcome, following which, you will check into your room.
In the afternoon, proceed on a guided tour of New Delhi, visting the city highlights like the Qutab Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate and the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
After breakfast, proceed on drive to Agra (205 km / 4 hours
approx.), where on arrival you will check into your hotel. All your
transfers in India re on a private basis.

The rest of the day is at leisure. You have the option of enjoying a day of complete relaxation and rejuvenation of the mind, body and soul as you experience the Spa treatments in your hotel.
In the evening, enjoy a lecture on Indian culture and history by a historian, focusing on the Mughal dynasty.

DAY
3 - AGRA
Early this morning, you will visit the world renowned Taj Mahal
(closed on Friday). Referred to as one of the wonders of the world,
the Taj Mahal in Agra is the epitome of tourism in India and is celebrated
for its architectural magnificence and aesthetic beauty. A symphony
in white marble, a tribute to eternal love, it was built by the Emperor
Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal.
Following breakfast, you will enjoy a guided tour of the Agra Fort, an outstanding example of Mughal architecture and the seat and stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations. The present structure owes its origins to Akbar who erected the walls and gates and the first buildings on the eastern banks of Yamuna River.
The
afternoon is at leisure. Overnight at ‘The Oberoi Amarvilas.

DAY
4 - AGRA – FATEHPUR SIKRI – JAIPUR
Following
breakfast, you will proceed to the pink city of Jaipur (260 kms / 7
hours approx. including stop at Fatehpur Sikri) en route visiting Akbar’s
abandoned capital, Fatehpur Sikri. Built by Mughal emperor Akbar in
1571 in honour of the Sufi saint, Sheikh Salim Chisti, it was the Mughal
capital for 14 years after which it was abandoned due to paucity of
water. It is made of red sandstone and combines influences from both
Hindu and Mughal architecture. Upon arrival in Jaipur, you will check
into your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a lecture on Rajasthan’s
culture and history by a historian. Overnight at ‘The Oberoi Rajvilas.

Day
5 - Jaipur - The
Oberoi Rajvilas and Spa .
Enjoy an early morning " Yoga Session" .
After breakfast, you will proceed on a guided tour of Amer Fort. En
route, enjoy a photo stop at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - a five-storied
wonder with a spectacular pyramidal facade and overhanging windows with
latticed screens, domes and spires. Continue on drive to the ancient
capital of Amer to see the fabulous Amer Fort, situated on a ridge just
outside Jaipur city.
At the foot of the hill you will board jeeps to transfer you up to the
main gate. Tour the chambers and hallways of the palace, famous for
the excellence of its design and decoration.
The
afternoon is at leisure for you to enjoy a rejuvenating Spa therapy
(On your own) at The Oberoi Spa by Banyan Tree located
in a restored Rajasthani mansion.
Treat your body to pampering and relaxation inspired by a royal era.
Travel back in time as you enter the beautifully appointed spa suites
where the healing hands of trained therapists promise to revive the
body. Get revitalized with personalized holistic treatments drawn from
Eastern and Western techniques. Overnight
at ‘The Oberoi Rajvilas.
DAY 6 - JAIPUR
Following breakfast, enjoy a tour of the Pink City, an ‘abode
of rajahs’. The highlights of the tour include a visit to the
City Palace, the former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani
and Mughal styles. An overwhelming complex of exquisite palaces, gardens
and courtyards, decorative art and carved doorways, the Palace also
houses a museum with a superb collection of Rajasthani costumes and
armoury. Carry onwards to the awe inspiring Jantar Mantar Observatory,
a stone astrological and astronomical Observatory built by Maharaja
Jai Singh in the 18th century.
The afternoon is at leisure. Overnight at ‘The Oberoi Rajvilas.

Day
7 - JAIPUR – DELHI
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, following which, you will proceed
on drive to Delhi (260 km / 6 hours approx).
Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure for you to explore the city on your own. A tour of Delhi will provide you with much to see and admire, from Mughal monuments to modern malls, from traditional arts and crafts to trendy fashion shows, from skyscrapers to parks and gardens. Overnight at ‘The Oberoi’.
DAY
8 - DEPARTURE DELHI
Today,
bid farewell to India, as your 'Golden Triangle' tour comes to an end.
You will be transferred to the airport for your international flight
back home. If you wish to extend your holiday, we
definitely recommend that you avail our special Mashobra package.
