1 - DEPARTURE Saturday

Kennedy International Airport, bound for Athens.
2 - ATHENS Sunday
in the ancient-modern city of Athens, where our staff meets you at the
airport and escorts you on a half-day sightseeing tour of the Greek
capital, with special attention to the Acropolis. After settling in
at our hotel, the rest of the day is yours to explore the city-and its
shops!- as you like.
DAY 3 -
Athens Markets or BYZANTINE

Ride the new Athens Subway alongside the locals today ( always escorted
with your English speaking Guide) ! We take pride in affording you this
experience, entirely by public transportation, with orientation by our
English-speaking representative. You'll get to tour Athens fascinating
vegetable & fruit markets by subway and/ or taxi. Enjoy lunch at a
charming local restaurant before we head back to the hotel . Markets days/dates
are subject to change, we may have to change your program in Athens to
accommodate such changes.

3 - ATHENS - CAIRO Tuesday
Full day on own in Athens. Our Athens staff escorts you to the airport
for your flight to Cairo, air fare is included in economy class , tax
included , where our Cairo staff meets you and escorts you to your hotel.

stairs , then walk for 2-5 minutes , until you pass the duty free shops,
at the end of a wide corridor , you will see the security officers.
There you will be met by a local representative, who will be holding

Our local representative will then take your passport to obtain a stamp
from the cashier / bank window and escort you to speak with the passport
officer. He will escort you through another last check on your passport
as you exit the passport control, into customs area, he will assist
you in collecting your luggage and clearing customs . After exiting
the terminal, our local representative will escort you (private vehicle)
to the hotel
4 - CAIRO & Home Hosted Dinner - Wednesday (cBLD)
ours! We explore today : The Egyptian Museum, the Pyramids and Sphinx
. Lunch is included at a local restaurant, with a home hosted dinner
with an Egyptian family tonight.
5 - CAIRO Thursday (cB)
at leisure, own activities Continue your explorations of Cairo. In the
evening, we depart for Aswan aboard the Nile Express first-class sleeper
6 - ASWAN Friday (cBLD)
at Aswan Station, we escort you to your luxury Nile cruise vessel. After
lunch, explore Aswan's lively bazaar, or stroll along the banks of the
Nile, as you like. In the evening, we cast off and cruise down the Nile.
7 - KOM OMBO & EDFU Saturday (cBLD)
the twin temples at Kom Ombo, then set sail for Edfu with its great
Temple of Horus. The evening finds us docked at Esna.
8 - ESNA & LUXOR Sunday (cBLD)
the locks at Esna and cruise down the Nile, past bucolic scenes little
changed from ancient times, until our late afternoon arrival at Luxor.
9 - LUXOR Saturday (cBD)

are available to us until the evening. Explore the great temples or
the bazaar as you like. In the evening, we escort you to the Aswan Station
for our first-class sleeper train journey back to Cairo.
10 - CAIRO Monday (cB)
