This itinerary includes a tour of the Holy land's top sights, and three
nights in Paris--all in 12 days, at unbeatable rates.

Day 1- Monday PARIS
Arrival in Paris! Our staff will
meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel, centrally located
near the Champs-Elysees.
Day 2 - Tuesday PARIS
Day on your own , grab your Lonely Planet guidebook (we'll give you
a copy of the Paris guide at no extra charge), and head out into the City
of Light. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy as you please: strolling
the boulevards, watching boats on the Seine, shopping in the markets and
boutiques, or people-watching in a cozy cafe.
Day 3 - Wed PARIS (cB)
Come with us on a half-day panoramic
motorcoach tour of the city. We'll stop by the Place DE l'Opera, Place
de la Concorde, Champs-Elysees, Arch de Triomphe, Trocadero, Eiffel Tower
(tickets to the first level), Le Bastille and Notre Dame. Then we'll take
a short cruise on the Seine before we let you go to find your own favorite
Parisian haunts, led there by your Lonely Planet guidebook.
Day 4 - Thu PARIS TO TEL AVIV

After breakfast, we escort you to
the airport to catch your nonstop Air France or El Al flight to Tel Aviv.
During the flight, study your Lonely Planet guidebook to Israel, which
we present to you with our compliments. Upon landing in Tel Aviv, our
staff meets you, assists with entry formalities, and whisks you to your
hotel in Jerusalem.
Day 5 - Fri - JERUSALEM OLD CITY
(BD)
Full day touring of Jerusalem (old
city ) - Bethlehem. Mount of Olives, dramatic view of Jerusalem and Judean
Hills, Gethsemane and Kidron Valley; the "City of David " for
a walking tour including: the Western Wall (Wailing Wall ) . The Temple
Mount with the Dome of the Rock. Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy
Sepulchre. David's tomb, view room of the Last Supper and the Dormition
Abbey. Continue to Bethlehem, Rachel's tomb and the Church of the Nativity.
Day 6 - Sat - JERUSALEM - NEW
CITY (BD)
Today we venture into Jerusalem
the new city: Mt. Herzl and Yad Vashem, Memorial to the holocaust, Ein
Karem, view the Knesset (Israel's Parliament ).
Day 7 - Sun - JERICHO - TIBERIAS
- SAFED - KIBBUTZ (BD)
Drive to Jericho, the oldest city
on earth and then on to the Yardenit baptismal site. Continue to Tiberias
and drive along the shores of the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum, the Mount
of Beatitudes and Tabgha, site of the Multiplication of the Loaves and
Fishes. Drive to Safed and visit an old Synagogue and the artist colony.
Overnight at a Kibbutz guesthouse.
Day 8 - Mon - GOLAN'S - NAZARETH
- ACRE (BD)
Drive to the Golan Heights and view
former Syrian fortifications. On to Nazareth to see the Basilica of the
Annunciation and Joseph's Workshop. Continue to Acre, view the Knight's
Hall and walk through the Old City. Overnight in Nahariya.
Day 9 - Tue - NAHARIYA - CAESAREA
- TEL AVIV (BD)
Proceed to Haifa via the Panorama
Road to view the city and its environs from the Carmel Mountains. Descend
to the Persian Gardens to visit the Bahai Shrine. Drive along the coast
to Caesarea, and then through the Sharon Valley to Tel Aviv. Afternoon
at leisure.
Day 10 - Wed-TEL AVIV (BD)
Full day at leisure. Or join one
of the optional excursions, maybe to Massada - Dead Sea, through Bethany
(Lazarus' village ), and the Good Samaritan Inn. Drive via Ein Gedi to
Massada. Ascend by cable car to visit the fortress and the last stronghold
of the Jewish Zealots, and Herod's palace baths, etc. Dip in the Dead
Sea (weather permitting ) .
DAY 11 - Thu (B) Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the
airport. Bon Voyage
