Aaaah : Turkey.... Istanbul and Anatolia : If you have only a short time, this is the perfect getaway. Your five days in Istanbul and Cappadocia are filled with exotic sights, sounds, scenes and scents enough to make it seem like weeks.

DAY 1 - ISTANBUL Saturday (D)

Our staff escorts you from the airport to your hotel. In the evening, we go to dinner at one of the city's best restaurants, then to a nightclub for a show of live music, folk dancers and belly dancers.

DAY 2 - ISTANBUL & ANKARA Sunday (BLD)

We visit Istanbul's high points, starting at the Byzantine Hippodrome, followed by the Sunken Palace Cistern of Yerebatan Saray, then go on to Topkapi Palace, the home of the Ottoman sultans for centuries. We visit the palace's fabulous Treasury and renowned Chinese porcelain collection, then drive the short way to the 4000-shop Grand Bazaar to look for treasures of our own. In the evening we fly to Ankara and our hotel.

DAY 3 - CAPPADOCIA Monday (BLD)

We depart early for the drive across the Anatolian plateau to Cappadocia to visit the Göreme Valley, now an open-air museum with dozens of beautiful cave-churches cut from the living rock. Around us are scores of "fairy chimneys," pinnacles of volcanic rock formed by millennia of erosion from wind and water. After touring the region, we settle in for the night here.

DAY 4 - ANKARA & ISTANBUL Tuesday (BLD)

We return to Ankara to catch our Istanbul-bound flight, and return to our hotel in the Turkish metropolis. The rest of the days is yours to enjoy as you wish. Why not do some last-minute shopping?

DAY 5 - DEPARTURE Wednesday (B)

After breakfast, our staff escorts you to the airport for your flight.
